Intelligent Remote Power Management
The Power Switch PSE544-FR-R2 is an intelligent power management solution that does more than simply distribute power. It continuously monitors connected IP devices and can automatically reboot unresponsive equipment, helping reduce downtime, improve availability, and minimize the need for on-site service calls.
A built-in web server enables remote, browser-based control of each of the four power outlets, allowing administrators to individually power devices on, off, or reboot them from virtually anywhere. The integrated USB interface supports outlet control through a terminal connection, such as a KVM switch or console server, and can also initiate a graceful shutdown of supported servers to help protect critical data and applications.
An internal real-time clock enables scheduled power operations and provides accurate timestamps for system events, including logs, SNMP traps, and Syslog messages. This simplifies monitoring, troubleshooting, and audit tracking while helping administrators automate routine power management tasks.
The Power Switch supports HTTP, DHCP, Syslog, SNMP, and SNTP protocols, making it easy to integrate into existing IT infrastructure and network management systems.
