本SFPは最大1250 Mbpsのスループットに対応しており、高速アプリケーションに最適です。SFPタイプ、ファイバーリンクの長さ、波長、ビットレートなど、基本的なリンク情報を提供します。さらに、拡張診断機能により、温度、送受信（TX/RX）パワー、電圧、バイアス電流などの詳細情報も取得可能です。ホットプラグ対応インターフェースにより、ネットワーク稼働中でもSFPの交換が可能で、柔軟な運用を実現します。ほとんどのネットワーク機器のSFPスロットと互換性があり、幅広いシステムに対応できる汎用性の高い製品です。
