このUSB 2.0 ハブを使えば、スキャナー、デジタルカメラ、外付けドライブなどの周辺機器を最大4台まで、1台のホストコンピューターに接続できます。
USB（Universal Serial Bus）技術はIRQ（割り込み要求）を必要としないため、システムにより多くの周辺機器を接続でき、IRQの競合を回避できます。古いコンピューターにはUSBポートが搭載されていないことが多く、最新のPCでもUSBポートが1〜2個しかない場合があるため、USBハブは追加の周辺機器接続に不可欠です。
