Anshuman Ruia is part of the second generation of the Ruia family that founded Essar. Essar was founded in 1969 by his father, Shashi Ruia, and uncle, Ravi Ruia.

 Anshuman is known for his financial expertise and project execution skills that have been invaluable in Essar’s value creation journey. He was instrumental in overseeing Aegis, Essar’s erstwhile BPO business, which expanded more than tenfold within a short span of time. In 2014 and 2017, the Aegis business was monetised in two tranches at a value that was almost 20 times the amount invested in the business. He was also involved in the construction of the 20 million tons Essar Oil refinery in Vadinar, which is one of India’s most advanced refineries. The refinery was recently acquired by Rosneft and the Trafigura-UCP consortium following a landmark $12.9 billion transaction that was also the largest FDI in India’s Energy sector.

 A strong believer in adopting a modular approach in project management, he has ensured that these assets of national importance were completed within committed timelines. Anshuman has always been a trenchant advocate for business turnaround and growth by taking bold decisions. Currently, Anshuman is leading Essar’s investment in asset-light, new age businesses in the technology and fintech domains. He is also involved in the Ports business where he is driving higher efficiencies and developing an international footprint. Anshuman’s deep knowledge of finance and corporate structure has earned him the respect of his peers. He is a member of the YPO (Young Presidents Organisation).

 He is married to Radhika, and has two sons, Yuvraj and Yudhishthir. Anshuman is also a passionate connoisseur of music and a keen table tennis player.

Mr. Deepak Kumar Bansal has over 28 years of professional experience with organizations like Reliance Industries Limited, Coca Cola India, Vedanta Group, Sujana Group, Aegis and Essar few new age investments. Mr. Bansal brings with himself a diverse experience across industry verticals and is responsible for leading the financial operations and strategic initiatives globally including fund raising, business control and corporate governance. His expertise lies in the fields of strategic planning, all forms of funding including structured debt, working capital management and business control activities. Mr. Bansal is currently based out of United States. Apart from being Executive Director & CFO of the Company, Mr. Bansal is also the Director of BBX Main Inc. and BBX Inc. (100% subsidiaries of Black Box Limited) as well as Director & CFO of Black Box Corporation (100% subsidiary of Black Box Limited) since its acquisition by the Company on January 7, 2019. Mr. Bansal has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with honors in Accountancy & Business Statistics, and he is a qualified Chartered as well as Cost & Management Accountant.

Mr. Dilip Thakkar is a practicing Chartered Accountant, with more than 62 years of experience in taxation and foreign exchange regulations. He is associated with several public and private companies as a Director. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. 

Mr. Munesh is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Ranked 13th All India) and has done his Bachelor of Commerce from DAV College, Amritsar.

Over the past thirty years, he has built a wealth of experience in corporate finance, restructuring, and strategic decision making through his involvement in numerous significant transactions spanning various industries. His engagements have not only provided him with substantial industry knowledge but also valuable insights in specific sectors. As a corporate advisory professional, he specializes in providing strategic advice to corporates, businesses, owners and seniors managers for enhancing the value of their businesses through initiatives such as, raising resources from Capital Markets and Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions, divestitures and corporate restructuring. He has worked closely, both with large conglomerates, mid−sized companies as well as with start− ups. His extensive industry experience and knowledge spans Infrastructure, Energy, Telecom, Airline and Airports, Entertainment and Media, Pharma, Healthcare, Financial Services, Payments, and Fintech.

Mr. Munesh has served and advised as a member of the Boards of various renowned listed and unlisted Companies for over 2 decades which includes Hinduja Global, Gulf Oil, JSW Energy, JM Financial, Arvind group and Indofil Organic etc. He is also serving as a trustee for Balaji Medical and Diagnostic Research Centre (Society), which operates a 550−bed hospital at Patparganj, NCR.

He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He has been a Member of CII, a member of the Executive Committee of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and served as Co− Chairman of the Finance & Capital Market committee of FICCI. He has also been a member of Business India’s Panel for selection of India’s Best Bank and Businessman of the Year as also a member of Business Today’s Panel for the Businessman of the Year.

Mr. Munesh currently runs his own corporate & strategic advisory and investment banking firm, Backbay Advisors Private Limited.

He reads voraciously, travels extensively and occasionally blogs in the business press about his travel experiences.

Mr. Naresh Kothari is a seasoned finance professional with over 30+ years of experience and the Founder and Managing Partner of Alpha Alternatives, India’s leading multi-asset class alternatives platform. Known for its innovative risk-return solutions, Alpha Alternatives operates out of India and Singapore, employing over 175 professionals, including 15+ partners, and offering nine distinct investment strategies.

Mr. Naresh Kothari holds a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad and a BE in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.

Ms. Neha Nagpal has been practising Law for over 18 years and has gained vast commercial Law and litigation experience at the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Competition Commission of India. During this period, Ms. Nagpal has advised clients companies on transactions relating to restructuring of Companies and Media/TV show productions and represented her clients on various assignments / cases such as International Commercial Arbitrations, the 2G cancellation and Coal block de-allocation case before the Supreme Court etc. Ms. Neha was a part of the team of Lawyers who worked to challenge the homosexuality laws in India before the Supreme Court, which led to the decriminalization of homosexuality in India. Ms. Neha runs NM LAW CHAMBERS and focuses on commercial law practice with a focus on white-collar crimes issues and insolvency related matters. She has represented various clients in matters pertaining to the PMLA, SFIO, CBI and Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code. Ms. Nagpal was awarded the Forbes ‘Tycoons of Tomorrow’ Award in 2018 and has been featured in the 2021 Forbes Powerlist of Lawyers. She is a recipient of the BW LEGALWORLD 40 under 40 Awards for Outstanding Lawyers. She was also featured as 100 powerful woman in Law by BW LEGALWORLD in March 2024. Ms. Neha Nagpal is BA [Hons] Law and Business Studies graduate from the University of Warwick, England. She has also completed L.L.M in International Economic Law from said University and holds Diploma in the Law of Private Equity Investment in India from NotJustLEx, an online learning platform.

Sanjeev Verma is the Executive Director of Black Box Limited (formerly AGC Networks Ltd). He is also the President and CEO of Black Box Corporation (100% subsidiary of Black Box Ltd) since its acquisition by Black Box Ltd in 2019.

As Executive Director, he is focused on leading the organization toward its vision to be the leading global IT solutions provider known and trusted for our customer-centric approach, commitment to customer success, and continuous innovation.

Sanjeev strongly believes in the philosophy of think globally (as our clients do) but act locally where our relationships exist. He is focused on Black Box's philosophy of accelerating customer's business through a relentless focus on nurturing Relationships, continuing to stay Relevant in the marketplace, and delivering Results aligned to the client organization.

Over his successful 12-plus year stint at Black Box, Sanjeev has served as CEO (Americas) & President of International Operations where he led the worldwide business and P&L (except India); was earlier the President & Executive Director responsible for overall P&L & growth strategies; and Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Business Operations where he was responsible for global sales & business operations and instrumental in building the company's global expansion strategies.

Sanjeev is a seasoned technology veteran with more than two decades of extensive global experience in the Information Communications Technology (ICT) sector. He has a highly successful track record in the areas of business operations, sales & marketing, consulting, M&A and start-up operations. He is a visionary with a deep understanding of diverse global geographies and his resilient leadership has been a key contributor to the company's success and global expansion.

Prior to joining Black Box, Sanjeev held management positions at Wipro, 3D Networks (acquired by Wipro in 2006) & Global Tele Systems both in the United States & internationally. He is based in Dallas, Texas.
